Tasting Notes Vinous 95 Jadot’s 2010 Corton-Charlemagne, a last minute addition to the tasting, is served from a 3-liter bottle. I am surprised by how well all the elements are balanced for such a young Charlemagne, especially considering the large format bottle. Textured, sensual and inviting, the 2010 emphasizes depth and fruit over minerality. Although the 2010 will become much more complex over time, it is already quite beautiful and expressive. The seamless, silky finish makes it impossible to resist a second taste. The palate is generous on the opening, laden with spicy fruit, orange zest and lemongrass that builds to a voluminous finish.
